Warranty and Disclaimer
All products sold by Carbonetics may not be legal for street use. It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with their local, state and national authorities; in regards to the legality of their vehicle.
Carbonetics is not responsible for the installation and modification of the product or the vehicle. It is the buyer's responsibility and understanding to take best practices and engage with a professional installer to achieve best possible fitment and results. Carbonetics is not liable for any cost incurred during the preparation, installation and modifications process needed for any products, regardless of whether it is deemed a defective product. All defective products should be made aware to Carbonetics immediately and will be swapped out to an alternative non-defective product (customer accepts that there may be a waiting time involved if Carbonetics does not have this product in stock).
Our Price Policy
Shop with confidence with our Price Guarantee Policy. This means that we will match genuine advertised prices of our leading Australian competitors online or instore. This includes both in stock and made to order items.
How do I request a Price Match?
Simply provide a Carbonetics team member proof of the competitor's current advertisement or website address, showing the offer's end date and any terms and conditions. The team member may check the website or call the company to verify the lower price and availability of the product.
Once your price match request is verified, we will create an offer for you to purchase the product from us at the lower price.
What are the exclusions?
- Offers which include cash back, bonus, bulk purchase, commercial quantities, quantity limits or packages.
- Pricing with included delivery or installation. We are happy to look into the delivery and installation at the time of the request.
- Offers not available to the general public - including trade pricing, special event, club or membership offers.
- Clearance, seconds, refurbished, ex-demonstration or display products.
- Products shipped from or sold by third-party sellers on marketplace, auction, eBay, Alibaba, wholesale or classifieds websites.
- Products supplied through unauthorised distributors (known as 'grey market' items) or delivered directly to customers from an overseas distributor.
- Pricing errors.
- Products with pricing set significantly lower than the recommended retail price or market value.
- If the product discount is associated to a payment options we do not offer. We might be able to match the price but cannot match/offer a service we do not have or do not have contracts with (Eg Latitude Interest Free).

Installation Of Products
Carbonetics insists on professional installation for all products to guarantee a most optimal result. The customer understands that all products may require alterations in order for correct fitment such as Prepping, Trimming, Cutting, Sanding, Additions and any Fiberglass/Carbon Work that is needed as part of installation. Carbonetics does not guarantee OEM fitment for any parts supplied unless stated otherwise.
All fibreglass and portion carbon products will require some form of Prepping, Trimming, Cutting, Sanding, modifications to your vehicles, Additions and Painting work before installation on the car. Carbon may also need some prep work depending on the part. All products can be painted. Carbonetics is not liable and will not cover any equipment, products or costs associated with the installation of your product. Some parts of your vehicle may need to be removed to fit on certain parts, eg: front and rear bars, may require your crash bar to be removed, you may need genuine brackets or depending on your setup, fender liners may need to be cut.
Please note: Every individual product and vehicles is different with many factors to take into consideration such as; age, condition, warping, previous accidents/repairs, structural deviations, environmental damage, pre-existing damage, rust etc.
Therefore, adjustments to Carbonetics products and your vehicle will have to be made to cater for this. Certain products will require painting in order to match the aesthetic of the buyer's vehicle (portion carbon, carbon or fibreglass). The products will not fit like an OEM factory supplied part as we supply aftermarket parts that are handmade.
Please understand that Carbon & Fiberglass products may slightly change shape/warp in certain areas due to packaging, freight and boxing. Some products may need to sit in the sun or under heat over time to take its true form.
Defective Products
As previously mentioned, all Carbonetics products need to be professionally installed by an Automotive Bodyshop to guarantee an optimal result.
As all items are handmade, no two items will be identical. There will be inevitable imperfections, blemishes and will not fit like an OEM part/or have OEM fitment. This is part of the hand-crafted process. Not fitting like OEM/ not having OEM fitment is NOT considered to be defective.
If there are any issues with any of Carbonetics products and you believe that it is not fit for use or may need an extensive amount of work may be needed to fit, Carbonetics should be notified immediately before any work on the product commences. Photographic and video evidence of potential defects must be documented and sent to Carbonetics for review and assessment. All products need to be returned in original condition. Meaning the products cannot be modified as we will need the item returned to us for the investigation. If the product is modified, it will automatically void the warranty we offer. If the product is modified we are unable to give you a refund as we cannot determine the original condition of the product. If we move forward with the item, will only be able to offer a store credit and no refund.
Carbonetics should be notified immediately if during the installation process any serious product or fitment issues arise (drastic modification or time are needed to make the product fit). Carbonetics will not consider a product defective after work has begun on the product.
Once the issue is raised, adequate time will need to be given to properly assess the situation and investigate the issue. We work in a specialty market meaning each product will need to be investigated individually on a case by case basis, taking into account the uniqueness every make, series and model of vehicle and how that product fits that particular make, series and model. The time frame is 5-7 business days with standard issue. Complex or unique circumstances may require time which is not determined.
Carbonetics will not consider any product defective unless verified by a qualified and accredited automotive Bodyshop/installer. Photographic and video evidence of potential defects must be documented and sent to Carbonetics for review and assessment prior to any return’s claims being approved or alternatives being sent out. In the event of any mold issues, Carbonetics reserves the right to repair the mold, provide equivalent options, offer an upgrade, or issue a full refund, with standard ETAs applying to all options.
Carbonetics Prototypes or Beta Products
Carbonetics is consistently pushing the boundaries in the automotive world with new and exciting products. This evolution means creating new products on a regular basis. These include prototype, small batch and custom products.
Carbonetics expects that you keep in consistent contact with us directly throughout the entire process when trailing a new or prototype product. This includes product feedback, fitment, any issues and product notes as they arise. These products may have faults or issues as they are prototypes and should be brought to Carbonetics attention immediately, so that we can find a solution, help fix the product, create a new one or offer an alternative.
Click & Collect - Warehouse Order Pickup
Carbonetics offers a Click & Collect or in-house install option for orders. This means, that when a product is purchased (in stock, out-of-stock or made-to-order or) or option is only available to our NSW customers.
Discount Codes, Sponsorship Codes, Private Codes and Dealer Discounts
At Carbonetics, we want to clarify how our discount codes function in relation to our regular retail prices and sales events. Custom discount codes, welcome codes, sponsored vehicle codes, and dealer discount codes are all applied to our regular retail prices, not on top of any sale prices. During sales periods, we disable all discount codes to prevent discount stacking. If your discount is higher than the current sale discount, please contact our team, and we will manually issue an invoice with your discount applied. Carbonetics reserves the right to enable or disable discount codes at our discretion.
Product Dispatch & Shipping
In-stock items are dispatched from the Carbonetics warehouse as soon as possible, depending on availability and congestion. Based on your location in Australia, estimated shipping time after it has been sent can vary from 2-7 business days for metro areas, to up to or above 14 business days or longer for regional areas.
Please be advised Carbonetics has no control over any courier related issues which include and are not limited to any of the following areas:
- Delayed package pickup
- Processing delays
- Transit from product pickup to depot
- Depot delays
- Reduced workforce
- Covid-19 related delays
- Depot holding delays
- Depot to delivery location delays
- Condition of packaging on arrival
- All product damages accrued during transit
- International service delays
- International border delays or process delays
- Unforeseen circumstances
- Shutdown periods, public holidays, weekends
- Weather delays or natural disasters
Many factors are in play as this is a third-party issue and outside of Carbonetics control. Carbonetics will supply a tracking number for all orders to the customer so that they can track their product.
Please be advised once your order has left Carbonetics warehouse, Carbonetics has no jurisdiction/control over the service levels, delays, condition of product, damage or delivery times for any courier companies used for any of the factors mentioned above. Insurance can be purchased for any product for additional cost.
Products on the Carbonetics website are either:

- Made-to-Order
If your item is out-of-stock or made-to-order, the following procedure will be followed:
- Once the item(s) is put into production, the current ETA is up to 28 weeks for production and freight.
- During the production period, any refund will incur a 50% non refundable Cancellation Fee as our made to order items are specifically made for an individual order. Once the products are made and are in bound or in the freight process, your order is not able to be refunded as the production is complete and already on its way.
- If your order is a special order/custom made item, you may not be eligible for a refund.
- If your item happens to be in stock for whatever reason at the time of a refund request, your refund will be denied. The in stock product will be sent out to you right away.
- Please note these ETA times which are impacted by a range of factors, this also include production components, congestion, worldwide factors such as Fire , Floods , Rain , Logistics delays, Covid, Political Issues etc. Please note this is outside of our control and we appreciate your understanding.

We deliver domestically using TNT, E-Go, DHL and Hunter Express and some specialised international couriers (for international only) through our agreed partnership rates. Should you believe that the cost of shipping is too high, please contact us prior to making a purchase so we are able to assist in exploring alternative options. In the event of any mold issues, Carbonetics reserves the right to repair the mold, provide equivalent options, offer an upgrade, or issue a full refund, with standard ETAs applying to all options.
Please not international customers, the orders cannot be cancelled due to freight delays or issues. Sending products across the world are subject to many external factors. We do our best to make sure your products arrive to you in a safe and timely manner. Our eta's are the best estimates that we receive from our courier partners but these are only estimates as there are a list of factors involved.
For our international customers, we strive to provide the best possible freight price. As a default and vast majority of our international order freight will be sent by sea due. This is the best cost effective measure for our customers to curb the ever growing cost of air freight and the size/ nature of the products. Please note the average eta for your order may take 60 business days for production then around business 30 days for sea freight. We strive to abide by these time frames but the etas may be delayed due to a factor of reasons with sea or air freight. We do not supply sea freight tracking but can provide Air freight tracking to customers who have chosen that option. The customer will be notified with an air freight tracking number via email.
Please note: production or courier etas on orders may be impacted/ delayed by end of year shutdown (closed for a month between December 20th - January 20th), public holidays and weekends. This may impact etas of products ordered, logistics, order processing on or during these periods.
You may be contacted should the shipping rate change as courier rates are out of our control and always changing. Reasons for Carbonetics contacting you may be Courier/website API error (application programming interface), increase in shipping costs from date of order, additional costs from courier etc. This may be necessary in order for your shipment to be processed.
Shipping Damage
All orders are carefully packed and sealed to minimise the potential for damage. However, damage may occur despite our efforts, due to a list of factors out of Carbonetics' control.
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the packaging and the product's condition upon receiving them.
Should there be damage to the product, all issues and imperfections must be noted down, in addition to the receipt, the Driver and all details pertaining to delivery.
All packaging materials must be retained, for inspection by appropriate authorities. A signed receipt without any notation or review indemnifies the carrier and Carbonetics from damage claims.
All damages must be notified to the carrier and Carbonetics within 24 hours of receipt. Should the procedures of notation and receipt be appropriately executed, the carrier will determine how to best proceed.
Return/ Refunds
As we operate within an extremely specialised market we strongly recommend that you consider your purchase carefully, as a number of our items are custom made to order, shipped in to customer specification and may come with charges to return them. Special made, custom or some made to order items are non refundable as they are specifically made for your order and is something we do not stock. A store credit may be awarded, this is on a case by case basis.
We are not able to process any full refunds for change of mind, external circumstances (selling car/ written off car etc), not being able to install it yourself without professional help/ discussing options with Carbonetics first or being unable to wait for the product to be made in the time frame listed above.
If a refund is approved, it will take 5-10 business days to process once returned regardless of fault or reason.
Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them and not use them.
We cannot refund/cancel your purchase if:
- You return your product without proof of purchase.
- The products have been sat in, used, any bolting points have been fixed to a surface or the products are damaged.
- Item/s are not in original condition. If any modifications are made, we cannot accept the product back.
- Change of mind or situation for made to order items.
- Product arrives damaged during freight as Carbonetics holds the right to send a replacement product.
- If the product is already made and in the freight process.
- If your freight has been delayed due to logistical delays on route to you. This is outside of our control and do not have any say on logistics.
- The goods were a special order and/or made to your specification.
- The Products were not originally purchased from us.
- Not wanting to pay freight for your made to order product
- The Products was deemed defective without proof of professional installation (not OEM fitment is not deemed defective)
- There are courier delays or freight issues
- A holding deposit was left for a specific product or order
- Special made, custom or some made to order items are non refundable as they are specifically made for your order and is something we do not stock
- If the item is in stock
Carbonetics reserves the right to cancel, at any time before delivery, an Order that it has previously accepted where:
(a) Carbonetics, acting in good faith, is unable to obtain sufficient quantities of stock to fulfil your Order within a reasonable time;
(b) An event beyond Carbonetics control, such as storm, fire, flood, earthquake, terrorism, power failure, war, strike, pandemic, governmental action, mold damage or failure or problems with the internet or third party computer systems, means that Carbonetics is unable to supply the Goods within a reasonable time;
(c) Goods or services ordered were subject to an accidental error on the Website, for example, in relation to a description, price, reward or image; If this occurs, Carbonetics will issue a full refund of the total price paid.
Please note all our items are wrapped up in bubble wrap and shipped out with a hard reinforced cardboard box however sometimes freight damage does occur due to freight Companies. We will not be responsible for any freight damage that occurs during transportation we highly recommend the buyer purchases freight insurance. Please contact us if you wish to purchase freight insurance with your order.
Please note for our international customers/ orders, the orders cannot be cancelled after the production process has been commenced. It cannot be canceled due to change of mind, freight delays, damages or delayed issues. Sending products across the world are subject to many external factors. As per the ACCC Refunds & Returns Policy
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
• is unsafe
• is significantly different from the sample or description
• doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.
Unforeseen Circumstances and Unique Situations
The aftermarket parts industry is unique due to the products on offer and their intended purpose. Products are often large, but light weight. Production requires precision and accuracy in order to replace and/or adhere to the original shape in an acceptable and high quality manner. With such a large catalog of products for all vehicle models and styles/types, there may be abnormalities in regards to scheduling for production completion.
Likewise, there will be situations where the nature of the product you have purchased will require specific instructions and equipment for shipping. This also includes circumstances that are out of our control, such as extreme weather, contractor logistical issues, industrial disputes or customs. At Carbonetics we operate using the most efficient method of delivery to and from our warehouse. Any delays or issues in this area will be communicated with you as necessary.

Carbonetics will offer discount and promotional codes to our customers and sponsored vehicles. Depending on the code, it may be enabled all year around, unless single use in nature.
