Returns & Refunds

Many Carbonetics products are made to order, specially sourced or allocated specifically to a customer. Please review all product details, vehicle compatibility, materials and estimated timeframes carefully before purchasing.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Carbonetics is not required to provide a refund or exchange for change of mind.

At our discretion, we may accept a return for an eligible stocked product where:

  • The request is made within 14 days of delivery;
  • The product is unused, uninstalled, unpainted, unmodified and undamaged;
  • The product is returned in its original packaging and is suitable for resale; and
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 30%-50% restocking fee. Original shipping costs, return shipping, duties and other associated charges are non-refundable and remain the customer’s responsibility.

A Return Confirmation must be obtained before returning any product.

Non-Returnable Products

We do not accept change-of-mind cancellations or returns for:

  • Made-to-order, pre-order, custom or specially sourced products;
  • Products already entered into processing, allocation or production;
  • Sale or promotional products;
  • Products that have been installed, used, drilled, cut, painted or modified;
  • Products damaged through incorrect installation, misuse or handling; or
  • Deposits paid toward a specific product or order.

This does not limit any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Customers who believe they have received a faulty, freight-damaged or incorrect product must contact Carbonetics as soon as possible and provide:

  • Their order number and proof of purchase;
  • Clear photographs and videos of the product;
  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping label; and
  • Details of the issue.

Products must not be installed, modified, painted or repaired before Carbonetics has reviewed the claim.

Carbonetics may require the product to be returned or professionally assessed before confirming the appropriate remedy.

Return Shipping

For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping, insurance and ensuring the product is packaged securely.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, Carbonetics will cover or reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law.

Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to the customer.
